01 · Decide

Opportunity Scan.
Prioritise before investing.

Mellion transforms a collection of ideas, irritants, and projects into comparable decisions. You know where to act, why, with what expected result, and what level of effort before committing the budget.

The problem we address

Too many open topics, not enough criteria to decide.

Requests often accumulate by service: automating reporting, switching to a new CRM, launching a portal, integrating AI, or redesigning a customer journey. Each topic seems important, but they are neither articulated nor compared with the same criteria.

We start from the actual functioning. Irritants are linked to their economic, operational, and human consequences, then each scenario is compared based on its value, urgency, effort, and risk.

01

A shared priority

Topics are classified with criteria understood by management and teams.

02

A realistic scenario

Purchasing, automation, development, or process change are compared without biased technology.

03

A measurable first step

The selected pilot has a scope, a responsible party, and explicit success metrics.

The Method

Decide based on facts, not the most appealing solution.

The diagnostic progresses through short, verifiable decisions, leading to a roadmap that the team can actually execute.

Typical case

A business leader must arbitrate a dozen digital projects.

Situation
Requests come from multiple teams, benefits are formulated differently, and technical dependencies appear too late.
Mellion's response
Each topic is rephrased as a business problem, documented with the same criteria, then compared to internal solutions, market solutions, or custom solutions.
Targeted result
The board knows what to launch now, what to prepare, what to defer, and which topics do not justify investment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before launching the diagnostic.

When should we launch an Opportunity Scan?

When multiple irritants or projects compete, a significant investment must be prioritised, or the company lacks shared criteria to decide.

How long does the diagnostic take?

A targeted topic can be scoped in just a few days. A cross-functional diagnosis typically takes one to three weeks, from interviews, analysis to presentation.

What does one receive at the end of the mission?

A map of irritants and opportunities, the value-effort-risk comparison, recommended scenarios, success metrics, and a prioritised roadmap.

Does the diagnostic obligate us to continue with Mellion?

No. The decision produced is autonomous and documented. You can execute the roadmap internally, with Mellion or with another partner.

Your next step

Which opportunity should come first?

A first exchange helps define the decision to be made, the people to involve, and the available information.
